Transportation Applications

Aircraft:
Description:
Distributing high power within modern commercial aircraft begins with insulated bussbars making short runs in confined areas. These three bussbars are part of over thirty that make up the main power distribution network. They divide and move the power through banks of circuit breakers. The rigid design means greater stability through vibration and extreme temperature swings. Without insulated bussbars, installation time and package size would both be unmanageable.
